Steven Sunquist / Owner

Steven Sunquist is the proud owner of Naples Luxury Builders, Inc. With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry and a Certified General Contractors license from Florida, he brings a wealth of expertise to the table.

Steven’s journey began in his teenage years working as a concrete laborer in Chicago. With remarkable work ethic and dedication, he quickly advanced to supervisory roles in his early twenties. While attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney and playing college football, he contributed to large-scale commercial projects, including airports, sports arenas, strip malls, and restaurants. After earning his bachelor’s degree, he returned to Chicago. Fueled by his passion for construction, he joined the local 502 cement masons’ and immersed himself in various projects across the vibrant city, including multiple high-rises that now grace Chicago’s skyline.

In 2005, Steven made the exciting decision to relocate to Naples, Florida. There, he established a successful CONCRETE construction company. Shortly thereafter, he merged his venture with a partner, forming a full-service general contracting company that thrived for a decade. Throughout this time, Steven built a strong reputation as a luxury custom builder, land developer, and astute businessman. With an unwavering commitment to excellence and an acute attention to detail, Steven takes great pride in the exceptional quality of work showcased by Naples Luxury Builders. He firmly upholds the values of honor and integrity that have become synonymous with his name.

Seeking new opportunities and desiring to steer the business in a fresh direction, Steven sold his shares and founded Naples Luxury Builders, Inc. in 2015. The launch of the new company proved to be a resounding success, as 17 employees from Steven’s previous company seamlessly transitioned to Naples Luxury Builders. Under Steven’s guidance, Naples Luxury Builders continues to flourish in custom building, development and concrete construction, building paradise throughout Southwest Florida.

Christopher Zdinak / Superintendent/ Vice President
Serving as Vice President, Christopher brings impressive construction experience to the table. Originally from Pennsylvania, he chose to make Naples his home. His expertise spans residential construction, starting as a framing expert and evolving into a meticulous trim carpenter and superintendent. With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years in the construction industry, he has managed multimillion-dollar home projects, including a notable 13,000 square ft estate.

Christopher assumes a critical role in overseeing subcontractors and crews throughout the construction process. He ensures adherence to rigorous quality standards, timely project completion, and utmost client satisfaction through hands-on management, meticulous attention to detail, and seamless collaboration with professionals. His organizational abilities and adept management skills set him apart, resulting in unparalleled outcomes.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Christopher engages in community service, generously volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and dedicating his energy to coaching youth football. His exceptional work ethic and active involvement in the community have earned him immense respect. His contributions are invaluable to both clients and the Naples Luxury Builders team.

Jean Fresner / Concrete Foreman

Jean is an invaluable member of the Naples Luxury Builders team, having been with the company since its inception and previously working with the owner’s previous company. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, his expertise in structural design and leadership abilities are truly remarkable. Jean’s deep understanding of foundations and structural engineering has made him an invaluable asset in both residential and commercial projects.

As the leader of the Naples Luxury Builders concrete crew, Jean has played a vital role in the division’s growth and success. Under his guidance, each project is executed with precision and expertise, reflecting his commitment to excellence.

Beverly Sunquist/ Construction Administrator

Beverly is a highly skilled professional in real estate and construction, holding both a Florida CAM (Community Association Manager) license and a realtor license. With a successful track record as a portfolio manager overseeing the operations of 32 Community Associations in Collier and Lee County, she seamlessly applies her experience to efficient project management in construction.

From permitting to the certificate of occupancy, she serves as an indispensable asset, skillfully managing budgets, providing exceptional client support, and ensuring seamless financial management. With meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach, she excels in material procurement, field support, and project timeline management, consistently delivering projects on time and exceeding client satisfaction. Her expertise in property analysis and deal evaluations are also invaluable to Naples Luxury Builders, providing a solid foundation for informed decision-making in new development ventures.

As an active member of the National Association of Women in Construction, SW FL chapter, she demonstrates her commitment to staying updated with industry trends and forging meaningful connections with fellow professionals.
